Hi!!!!! Baby Tucker was born right before Christmas and ohh I can just tell an incredible gift he was to his family! Christmas miracle, hehe! Tucker was an absolute angel to photograph. Sleeping babies are a newborn photographers dream because then we can really pose them and be creative, not having to spend hours to soothe the baby to put them back to sleep.

It is very important for a baby to be asleep during the newborn session because it is dangerous to put them in props and different poses if they are wide awake. They could fall out and no experienced photographer will ever risk that! That’s why we take our time and soothe the babies to make sure they are in deep sleep. Safety of newborn baby is top priority at every session.

If the baby doesn’t fall asleep newborn photographers have other tricks, like wrapping the baby in different ways to get those precious photos.

Tucker was such a sweetie pie and let me pose him without a fuss, hehe! Tucker’s mom liked Christmas photos, greens, creams and blue colors. I made sure to incorporate these colors in his photographs, amazingly he let me use all the sets and colors we had planned.

A day before Tucker’s Newborn session his momma sent me an idea she had and it involved some evergreens. I decided to include them in this precious set!! I made his hat, wrap and layer and the bamboo basket came from Rozzi Rayne Props. It made the perfect wintery scene, gahh I just love it.
